We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to be based in the metropolitan area of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, who will manage the boutiques in these areas, as well as the wholesale customers assigned to the region.
OVERVIEW
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for successfully driving sales revenue in a nominated region, whilst building and leading high-performing teams throughout the territory. To be considered for this position you must have an extensive retail background and have previously managed multiple stores within a leading fashion brand. We are looking for a sales and service-focused champion who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and enjoys working as part of a team. The position is field-based with a company car provided. Candidates must be located within a reasonable and commutable distance from the store portfolio and eligible to drive in Spain.
THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Regional Sales Manager will build high performing teams and strategically drive sales and profitability within our ‘Owned and Operated’ stores whilst retaining a customer-centric approach at all times. Global and local brand standards must be executed consistently, commercially, and efficiently. The RSM will be responsible for building strong partnerships with key stakeholders in order to maximize the people, product & operational opportunities within the region.
Key Responsibilities for the RSM include:
1. People
Lead, inspire and develop your people to build committed and high-performing Store Managers and teams. Adapt leadership and coaching styles to accommodate the varying experience levels across; people management & development, selling, stock and operational excellence, and visual merchandising.
2. Promote an inclusive and diverse culture in line with the Pandora Brand Values.
3. Champion a positive and flexible work culture, promoting continuous improvement and effective change.
4. Develop and invest in talent to create a robust internal talent pipeline and succession plan.
5. Recruit A-Class talent into your teams.
Performance and Standards
Successfully drive sales performance to achieve sales targets and store KPIs for the nominated territory. Coach and lead Store Managers and teams to maximise sales & profitability and to deliver high standards of operational execution. Lead and deliver ‘best in class’ customer experience, brand initiatives, and operational standards across all stores. Excellent execution of global VM standards, influenced by global market expertise.
Partnerships, Training and Communication
Business partner closely with HR, Retail ops, Training, and Merchandising in order to maximize potential in people, product, and sales. Partnering with the ‘Sales Training’ team to develop training programs to deliver business results. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with store teams. Facilitate face-to-face training/workshops for store teams. Ensure all Retail communications are shared timely and aligned with Group Communications standards.
Process, Analysis and Administration
Analysis of business performance, data, and reporting to identify commercial opportunities, implement change, and corrective actions where appropriate. Understand industry standards and benchmarks and seek ideas to ensure Pandora is a market leader in service and operational standards. Improve regional stock loss and accuracy. Manage payroll in line with business expectations. Provide product, customer, and local market feedback to the wider business.
MORE ABOUT YOU
Extensive retail management experience within a global organisation and a proven track record of successfully delivering in a similar multi-site field management role (e.g., Multi-Site Manager, Area Manager, District Manager). Strong expertise in wholesale channel management, with proven experience in negotiating commercial agreements and developing strategic partnerships to expand the network and drive business growth. Experience of running a high-profile region with a high turnover. A customer-centric and service-focused team leader with a target-driven and sales-focused mentality. A strategic and solutions-focused manager with an excellent understanding of how to successfully achieve retail KPIs. Excellent communicator, fluent in Spanish and English (verbal and written) with strong collaboration and influencing skills. Ability to prioritize and work under time pressure displaying pace and energy. An inspiring leader, coach, and mentor with excellent people development skills. High level of business acumen and experience with strategic planning. Data-driven and experience with scheduling, high performance and productivity, stock optimisation, payroll, and territory management. A passionate team player that thrives in a fast-paced retail environment. Self-motivated, organised, and logical with effective time management. A creative flair with experience in visual merchandising. Availability to travel 80% of the time.
