What is the Delivery capability?
The Delivery capability covers the core procurement activities from category management, strategic and operational sourcing, supplier management, content strategy definition, and execution.
This position is part of the Digital & Tech Business Platforms Delivery team reporting into the Procurement Delivery Lead Business Platforms.
In the GP Digital & Tech Business Platforms team we are aiming to negotiate software applications, IT managed services, on-premise maintaining and managing applications, licensing subscription models that are critical to the business enabling IT modernization to drive their technology transformation across Roche group.

As a Sr. Procurement Delivery Manager - Digital & Tech, you will work in a dynamic global environment where you will bring analytical thinking, planning, execution, and focus to the procurement sourcing / contracting and delivery capability area.
Using your strong problem-solving, deep procurement skills, and category knowledge, you will drive collaboration with procurement and business stakeholders to build and implement comprehensive sourcing and spend management plans.
Your key responsibilities include:
1. Category subject matter expert conducting market and internal analysis to develop strategies, influence the Delivery Managers to prioritize project portfolio, ensure sharing best practices, tactics, and vision for Roche to source and negotiate for third-party goods and services that satisfy stakeholder requirements.
2. Contribute towards achieving team goals regarding Financial / Non Financial outcomes, Continuity of Supply and Procurement Excellence focus areas.
3. Procurement practitioner developing and executing category strategies and tactical / strategic initiatives by leveraging spend, category know-how, robust sourcing, negotiation, contracting, supplier management, and project management methodologies and skills to deliver on objectives.
4. Content and automation advocate ensuring category strategy into content and automated buying channels, guidelines, best practices, and communication materials that improve business adoption, satisfaction, and overall efficiency.
5. Act as a role model and influencer for the other team members and support the extended team collaborating in global projects, communities or networks within the GP organization.
6. Manage suppliers and internal stakeholder relationships that contribute to the aim of the GP organization.
7. Develop core capabilities to drive effectiveness and efficiency of our Procurement activities for an improved customer experience.
8. Deliver on customer priorities and opportunities, while enabling Roche to meet its societal and environmental commitments.
9. Deal with administrative tasks necessary to develop and maintain our systems and processes.
You bring the following skills, mindsets, and behaviors:
* You hold a university degree, with a business degree preferable. You have 7+ years of experience in global category management, strategic sourcing, complex procurement contracting, and operational category efficiency projects.
* Solid leadership experience with strong influential skills.
* Proven data-driven decision making.
* Extensive IT sourcing, IT procurement and / or IT vendor management experience and specific category knowledge in IT Professional Services, Infrastructure, Application Services and / or Software Licensing from a large scale organization.
* Demonstrated project management and negotiation skills.
* Business level fluency in English.
