Context:
In our Sestao plant and within the engineering division, we are looking for Project Managers in anticipation of major upcoming projects. These roles can be open to 2-3 years mobilities.
Your role:
As part of new investments, relining or improvement operations, you lead projects on mechanical or electrical installations (including the preliminary project study, investment file, realization, and commissioning). In the pre-project phase and from the study request, you lead the search for optimal technical solutions and are involved in putting together the related investment file. During the study phase, you manage internal and external studies of the projects entrusted to dedicated companies and ensure their compliance with current regulations. In conjunction with the purchasing department, you are involved in the choice of original equipment manufacturers and needed suppliers. During the execution phase, you are responsible for planning and resources management, ensuring compliance with health and safety directives is met by all involved personnel. Finally, in the commissioning phase, you support the operational teams and ensure that operations run smoothly.
Your profile:
From an engineering background, your high technical skills on mechanical or electrical topics make you an expert in one of these fields. You have several years of experience (at least 5) in CAPEX projects management within ArcelorMittal and have excellent technical knowledge and solid notions of project management methodology (CIPM). Your autonomy, decision-making capacity, and resistance to stress linked to project challenges make you a strong candidate for this position. A very good level of professional English is required. Knowledge of professional and technical Spanish is an asset.
