About this opportunity:
Our team leads the Global Network Management Customer Adaptation business. We define services to support Ericsson Market Area (MA) customer engagements beyond standard Ericsson Product Software capabilities. The team drives service development, industrialization, and provides key competence in customer delivery engagements.
We're opening a position for a Senior Software Developer to strengthen expertise in customer-built software services around the Ericsson Network Management suite. The role involves crafting and delivering customer adaptations, supporting automation, and leading agile processes for software design, delivery, and maintenance. Additionally, you'll contribute to technical sales and effort estimations. Our team aims to impact customer perception and business outcomes. We focus on transparent, inclusive, and dynamic collaboration. As a key developer, you'll engage in end-to-end activities, including product reviews, customer deliveries, and asset creation. Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills are essential for success in this international environment. In addition to your role, occasional travel worldwide may be required for internal or customer activities. This international collaboration allows you to engage with colleagues, customers, and suppliers, contributing to our team's success.
What you will do:
1. Support pre-sales activities, including identifying customer opportunities and needs as well as support performing pre-studies and commercial offerings to customers.
2. Craft solution designs and configurations in customer networks.
3. Drive implementation process and develop customer adaptations.
4. Support strategy and new service development activities.
5. Lead remote and on-site customer deliveries.
6. Support identifying and driving product/solution and serviceability improvements and requirements towards Ericsson product units and services teams.
The skills you bring:
1. Software solutioning and design experience (work package definition, solution design, testing, etc.) in some or several of the used languages, tools and protocols such as:
* Java SE/EE, Python and Go, including multithreaded/process and distributed systems.
* Experience of Web Design (Java Script, Node JS, HTML, CSS).
* Cloud native architecture, containers, K8s, Docker, Micro Services, Helm.
* SNMP/REST/Net Conf/CORBA/Kafka/Open API.
* Spring Boot.
* Git Lab/Git Runner.
* Security scanning e.g., Sonarcube.
* Software artifact repository e.g., JFrog.
* Unit testing.
* Jira.
* Linux.
1. Experience in automation, AI/ML, agile practices, and software engineering principles.
2. Effective communication skills, explaining technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.
3. Collaborative team player, adept at working across domains, geographies, and cultures.
4. Innovative problem solver, always seeking continuous improvement and embracing change.
