The role
As a Business Development Manager, you will develop specific business in order to open new markets and/or customers and generate sales following the BBP targets and guidelines provided by the Business Unit Director. You will work within the Engineering Services & Compliance business unit coordinating different projects and being the point of contact between clients, technical teams and the different operation departments to ensure objectives fall within the timeline and budget set.
Key responsibilities
1. Boosting the assigned markets by deep analysis and promotion of strategy to select and address a subset of potentially new key customers.
2. Leads the generation of the RFQ/RFI that the Company can quote by providing continuous contact, follow-up and meeting with new customers.
3. Upholds respective home & host Sales and Engineering teams during the RFQ/RFI process and ensures a competitive and attractive technical and economical proposal.
4. Acts as a spokesperson of Idneo by presenting detailed proposals to the clients and cooperating closely with project teams.
5. Carry out offer presentations to the customers and report incidences to Business Unit Director.
6. Be a key player in the project teams in order to achieve new business.
7. Monitoring the account along with the Business Unit Director once it has been consolidated.
8. Represent the Customer interests inside the Company during the offer phase, transmitting their needs and expectations to our organization in order to provide the best response.
9. Provides key indicators that offer a clear definition of the strategy to follow at every stage, reviews and proposes changes if necessary.
10. Becomes a Role Model at Idneo by performing lessons learnt in order to ensure continuous improvement that allows the Company to keep competitive and attractive to the market.
Qualifications
1. We are looking for an individual with 10+ years of experience with strong sales and competitive drive with outstanding and proven selling abilities, and proven track record in setting up and managing sales channels in the electronic industry.
2. You will have the ability to provide vision, directions, and strategies but, most importantly, to transform them into actions. Be hands on in style, with excellent negotiation skills, active sales proficiency, and strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
3. Be a solution driven leader and focused and goal-oriented, with capabilities to manage multiple suppliers and stakeholders in a dynamic environment, and ability to collaborate and work within cross functional/international teams.
4. You will have a bachelor's degree in engineering field, business administration, marketing, finance, or related field; master's degree is advantageous.
5. Being fluent in Spanish and English is a must.
