This service-oriented, technical position provides support to all Siemens Business Units, helping to ensure the highest security standards across the company. What will be your role?
1. You support the protection of Siemens assets (IT systems, applications, and data) by identifying security improvement areas in a holistic approach, evaluating technical security risks, and recommending strong protection solutions.
2. You will work in a service that supports the internal Business Units, by delivering technical reports to improve security.
3. You bridge between technical specialists and management level by explaining to management and making technical risks transparent.
4. You will be a consultant for the Siemens cybersecurity community and business units on all security aspects to implement the identified protection measures.
5. You will work in a multinational team, where you can be an active part improving the internal processes and innovation initiatives.
What do you need to qualify for this job?
1. University degree in computer science, IT security or related fields.
2. Several years (>3 years) experience in IT with focus on audit and cybersecurity.
3. General knowledge of cybersecurity standards (ISO27001, NIST).
4. Appropriate trainings in multiple security areas and certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are a plus.
5. Experience as consultant in international IT projects with English communication in the team and with customers.
6. Knowledge in security assessments of IT systems and threat & risk based evaluation of protection controls (e.g. Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, DNS, Data Center, Storage, Firewalls, Proxy, WAN, LAN, SD-WAN, Network Security, Remote Access).
7. Solution oriented thinking, remarkable analytical skills, and excellent team working is key.
8. Proficient in written and spoken English combined with good interpersonal skills and attention to details. German language skills are a plus.
