About our Utilities team
Our team offer expertise in strategic planning, ECI/Toc/Alliance collaborative contracting models to design and deliver water and wastewater asset reliability and renewals, bulk water asset upgrades, capital infrastructure projects and network rehabilitation and replacement services in regional and metropolitan areas.
It is an exciting time for our team in Melbourne and nationally; we have won several large framework contracts including the ABK JV where we have been appointed as one of two Integrated Capital Works Planning and Delivery Partners for South East Water’s record AUD$1.5 billion investment in major capital projects. We are also part of the SFP JV with Melbourne Water where we are delivering a program of works covering a diverse range of design and construct and pipeline rehabilitation projects. With a strong pipeline of projects ahead, we’re growing and building a team that will help to drive our continued success.
About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join our leadership team and oversee the successful delivery of various water infrastructure projects in Victoria. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide technical expertise and manage both project and team performance, ensuring high-quality outcomes for our clients and ensuring all projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget.
Key responsibilities include:
* Working with Project Managers to ensure the financial, contractual, and operational success of multiple projects across the Utilities division.
* Leading and mentoring a team with a strong focus on safety and quality.
* Overseeing the financial performance of multiple projects, including revenue forecasting, cost tracking, and reporting.
* Building and nurturing key client and supplier relationships, identifying solutions that deliver innovative and differentiated value to our clients.
* Identifying potential project risks and implementing solutions to maintain project momentum.
Location for this role is flexible and can be based in our SFP office in central Melbourne or our ABK office in the South East with travel to sites as required.
What you’ll bring to the team
You will have a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams and experience in a similar role, with a strong background in delivering water infrastructure projects. Your leadership, commercial acumen, and ability to foster collaboration will be critical to your success.
As a natural problem solver, you enjoy tackling complex challenges and partnering with clients to provide innovative solutions. You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
