About the job: We are selecting a JEFE/A DE SALA to join our new hotel in the center of Málaga, CATALONIA PUERTA DEL MAR. The selected person will be responsible for the hotel's Restoration Department.
The main tasks include:
1. Organizing, directing, and coordinating the work of the staff under their supervision.
2. Planning the schedules and shifts of the department.
3. Directing, planning, and executing the activities of their area.
4. Ensuring quality, professional, and efficient service to customers.
5. Supervising the proper execution of the room-service process.
6. Managing complaints.
7. Knowing and advising on the various products on the food and wine menu.
8. Receiving, accompanying, and assigning tables to guests.
9. Gathering information on customer satisfaction during service.
10. Supervising the setup and replenishment of meeting rooms or other events.
11. Maintaining the restaurant/bar areas in perfect condition.
Requirements:
1. Experience in à la carte restaurant.
2. Specific training in hotel and service management.
3. Advanced English + other languages are a plus.
4. Young person with excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for customer service, and a good appearance.
5. Leadership skills and teamwork capabilities.
6. Training in wines and spirits is valued.
