Customer Agronomist Costa Med Sur: Murcia, Almeria, Alicante
Outcomes and Purpose:
The CFS Agronomy role is responsible for the positioning of the products to launch, the repositioning of the commercial products, and designing solutions to solve the market needs of the grower. It is also responsible for making the proper transfer of knowledge to develop a high level of confidence and competence around them in the CFS.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute field scale testing programs to position new products, reposition commercial products, and test solutions.
2. Data management, quality review, and timely submission of trial results.
3. Provide technical support and training with seed, trait, and crop protection products.
4. Ensure new technologies have the proper profile with key growers and retail.
5. Understand the technical position of Bayer products compared to competitors.
6. Determine the technical value for the final customer by working with the Unit Support Squad to categorize and validate key product features.
7. Communicate the right positioning of seed, traits, and crop protection products.
8. Collaborate in the ideation of solutions with the Unit Support Squad, always considering growers' feedback.
9. Ensure agronomy and digital are integrated in the solution together with CP product and/or Seeds.
Key Capabilities Required:
1. University degree in Agriculture or related disciplines.
2. Strong communication, collaboration, influencing, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills.
3. Results-oriented.
4. High level of understanding of crop production and agronomy for relevant crops in the area.
5. 5+ years experience in Agriculture.

The accountability of the Agronomy role involves providing accurate and valuable technical expertise during campaigns and product launches, ensuring effective training and technical support for the team and distribution, conducting and documenting trials with precision and thoroughness, actively participating in the agronomy community, and contributing to crop teams as necessary to support the overall objectives of the Customer Facing Squad.
