Overview:
Provide company with expert guidance to help the commercial area make pricing decisions and strategies.
Responsibilities:
1. Price Analysis and Cost Modeling:
o Conduct detailed price analysis to optimize product and service profitability.
o Develop pricing strategies based on margin analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer price sensitivity.
2. Market and Customer Analysis:
o Research markets and analyze customer behavior to identify pricing opportunities and forecast trends.
o Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to interpret market needs and adjust pricing policies accordingly.
3. Optimization of Pricing Strategies:
o Implement and manage dynamic pricing strategies aligned with company and market objectives.
o Evaluate the effectiveness of current pricing strategies and propose improvements to increase competitiveness and customer acquisition.
4. KPI and Scorecard Development and Implementation:
o Design, implement, and monitor KPIs related to pricing and margins to facilitate decision-making.
o Create reports, scorecards, and visualization tools for the commercial team and other departments, promoting efficiency and transparency in decision-making.
5. Cross-Functional Support:
o Work closely with finance, sales, and operations teams to support strategic pricing decisions.
o Ensure alignment of pricing strategies with commercial policies, providing insights to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
6. Data Modeling and Analysis:
o Manage and structure databases using visualization tools and programming languages to optimize data analysis.
Qualifications:
* Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
* Experience:
o At least 1 year of experience in pricing analysis, pricing strategy, or related roles in finance, BI, or sales.
o Prior experience in data analysis, preferably in pricing environments within sectors like retail, technology, consumer goods, or financial services.
* Technical Skills:
o Strong skills in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
o Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems, such as SAP or Salesforce, is highly valued.
* Languages:
o Advanced level of Spanish and English (spoken and written). Other languages are an asset.
