Our client is seeking Senior Electrical Engineers to play a crucial role in the development and testing of high-voltage cable systems within the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and analysing cable systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and producing technical documentation. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams are essential.
The successful candidate will also support project risk assessments and contribute to the overall engineering efforts. A commitment to teamwork, demonstrable experience in cable design and testing, and a willingness to travel for site visits are key requirements for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliverables Production: Take charge of producing essential deliverables, including engineering support for the Drawing Office, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports, and submissions to third parties.
* Technical Documentation: Sign and issue technical documents as the originator, taking full responsibility for their content.
* Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with direct reports to establish and monitor performance requirements, providing daily guidance as needed.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant safety and legal requirements.
* Client Representation: Act as the company representative in meetings and correspondence with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
* Project Support: Assist the Principal Engineer and Project Engineering Manager in coordinating engineering efforts for successful project delivery.
* Traceability Assurance: Maintain full traceability of the technical development throughout the project lifecycle.
* Tender Support: Provide technical assistance to local tendering teams.
* Supply Chain Familiarization: Learn and understand Supply Chain Management (SCM) processes and key commodity strategies.
* Risk Assessment Assistance: Support senior engineers in project risk assessment and mitigation efforts.
* Engineering Activities: Assist in the analysis, design, and engineering activities related to projects, ensuring compliance with industry codes, standards, and client specifications.
