We are looking for an experienced Integration Architect who is passionate about designing architecture to roll-out new innovative supply chain and quality management solutions on a large industrial perimeter.
The Integration Architect will form the bridge between all parties: local IT architects, the product Architects of the new solution, and business stakeholders.
Defining integration architecture means looking for an efficient way to deploy the new Scale-Up solution in the local environment:
* Identify with local Integration architecture new functions (gaps) to be added in the new solution when necessary.
* Define adaptations required in local legacy systems to connect local IT systems to the new solution.
* Design together with Product Architects architecture for adaptations needed for the new components of the solution.
* Assist together with Local Integration Architect architecture for adaptations needed at local side.
Based on this integration architecture, (s)he will propose an architecture for the delivery roadmap. Furthermore, (s)he will assist in the construction of the delivery plan and define the ramp-up scenario.
Once integration architecture and delivery plan are validated, (s)he will coordinate the timely delivery of new features in the core solution.
Tasks
* Create and maintain the integration architecture and ‘Delivery Roadmap’ (milestones, phases, steps).
* Be responsible for the creation and maintenance of the different roll-out phases.
* Participate on demand in follow-up meetings of individual delivery steps to clarify architecture and delivery plan when needed.
* Manage architecture roadblocks popping up in the roll-out and take necessary actions to solve them.
* Analyze gaps and bring together the necessary persons to come up with an action plan.
* Project management of the technical roll-out on a site.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience as an IT integration architect.
* Knowledge of older and modern IT concepts.
* Experience in agile development methodology is a plus.
* Experience in integration of supply chain solutions, preferably in the metal/paper industry.
* Creativity in finding/exploring solutions.
* Experience in IT transversal project management.
* Experience with integration & messaging technologies.
* Experience in coordination with enterprise architectures.
* Willing to work in a multi-cultural environment.
* Efficient communication skills.
* Understanding of Project Management methodologies.
* Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
* Solid organizational skills, including multi-tasking and time management.
* Knowledge of test methodology is a plus.
* Knowledge in steel industry/supply chain is a big plus.
* Knowledge in business process modeling and BPMN diagrams.
* Willingness to travel (limited – frequency: mainly on site but dependent on the project phase).
* Language skills:
o English (excellent level or native),
o Spanish (excellent level),
o French, German is a plus.
