Could you be the full-time onsite Project Document Controller in Sahagun, HID, MX we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering and document management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, skilled, and collaborative teammates.
You'll contribute to ensuring the correct configuration of our products through the creation and control of technical documentation elements according to Engineering design.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Quality Assurance, Global Project Teams), validate and create parts for global projects, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
1. Creating, validating, and releasing Alstom part numbers in specialized tools.
2. Creating and maintaining the engineering BOM in PLM systems.
3. Ensuring that configuration management rules and Engineering standards are followed in each processed request to ensure the quality of deliverables.
4. Ensuring the quality of technical documentation that describes our products (drawings, reports, materials lists, etc.), publishing it in digital control systems, and preparing shipments to the Customer.
5. Providing support to design Engineering teams around the world on product configuration, change management, and nomenclature rules.
6. Following up on issues reported to Engineering related to design releases.
7. Contributing to the department's delivery goals in terms of time, quality, and cost.
8. Keeping the department's tracking boards and key performance indicators (KPIs) up to date.
All about you

1. Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or similar).
2. Experience or understanding of document control, data analysis, PLM systems usage, or EBOM creation and management.
3. Intermediate knowledge of IT tools (advanced proficiency is desirable), including Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint.
4. Familiarity with digital documentation systems and maintaining engineering BOMs in PLM systems.
5. Advanced proficiency in English, both oral and written, capable of business-level conversation with international colleagues remotely and in person.
6. Attention to detail.
7. Time management skills.
