Security Compliance Reviewer - Intermediate

In this position, you will assist in protecting Equifax’s consumer data through proactive reviews of external transactions across multiple business units to identify noncompliance with consumer reporting laws and Equifax policy. You will perform a re-credential function to ensure that customers continue to have a permissible use of consumer data. You will ask questions and seek to gain a better understanding of the customer’s business in order to make an informed decision as to whether provided evidence is sufficient to document a permissible use of consumer data. You will communicate (verbally and written) with customers in sometimes difficult situations regarding actions taken by Equifax (e.g., suspension of service) and be capable of providing feedback or improvement opportunities when applicable. You will conduct background investigations and handle discrete sets of information to ensure the customer is operating a valid business and substantiate that there is an allowable purpose for access to consumer data.
What you’ll do:
* Analyze data to determine trends and present it in ways to help people and the organization make better decisions.
* Maintain a repository of common responses to security questions from customers and potential customers.
* Exercise sound judgment in determining when to initiate interdepartmental collaboration.
* Revise documents; participate in the evaluation of applications and contracts with our clients.
* Determine and apply the appropriate security policy and standards for each business transaction.
* Participate in calls with the clients as needed.
What experience you need:
* High School Diploma required.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish (B2 level).
* 1 year experience working with high volumes of work and minimal supervision.
* 1 year experience working with customers through emails and phone calls.
* 6 months experience writing professional emails.
