Purpose of the Job
Implements the strategic direction of the company in the operational Plant, having the end responsibility for the production and customer base of the plant.
As a Plant Manager, You Are Responsible For:
Demonstrating effective leadership: coaching all team members, equal treatment & fairness, in the interest of the well-being, safety, and development of all team members.
Promoting and applying guidelines and policies.
Ensuring the sustainability strategy of Connect Group is always considered when making business decisions and using monitored sustainable development goals as a continuous compass.
Implementing, monitoring, and guiding the sustainability strategy for the whole group, including ethical behavior and guidance on risks and opportunities.
Ensuring the welfare and safety of all plant employees.
Leading and inspiring staff, including program managers, to satisfy the needs of both internal and external customers, prioritizing according to the Group's values: quality, service, and cost.
Ensuring that production is delivered according to quality requirements, within budget, and on time.
The Plant Manager is responsible for:
* Improving factory cost price
* BOL (production)
* BOM (logistics purchase)
* Warehousing
* Program management
* QC
* Sponsoring operational excellence projects and improvements
Ensuring that the plant complies with corporate guidelines and policies.
Leading the local management team of the plant.
Managing representative indicators of the operational plant to know their evolution and detect deviations against the objective, taking appropriate corrective actions.
Supervising the projects and actions necessary to achieve the planned objectives.
Stimulating the productivity and competitiveness of the operational plant, with rigorous monitoring of expenses, purchases, stocks, and all areas and projects of the company.
Maintaining labor relations within and outside the operational plant, promoting human resources plans, and encouraging team development (detecting training needs, coaching, promotions, etc.), ensuring optimal sizing, climate, culture, and staff bonding by supporting actions of motivation, training, and development of the company's staff.
Representing the Company before various bodies and organizations, always promoting the image of the plant and CONNECT GROUP.
Orienting all the above functions to obtain targets regarding factory cost price level and the growth of the company's value through its local management team and the products or services.
