Your Role:
As a Field Service Engineer for Agilent in Spain, you will work at a variety of labs supporting our clients with on-site delivery of installation, maintenance, application, software and compliance services as well as customer training on our Spectroscopy (Atomic and Molecular) portfolio in case of you are interested in Madrid area or Liquid Chromatography (LC/LCMS) portfolio if your preferred location is Sevilla area. In that sense, having an appetite for continuously learning about new instruments, software and analytical method consulting is key. Your communication skills, creativity and can-do attitude are essential on top of the technical knowledge .
Your main responsibilities include:
* Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations as well as implements analytical method workflow solutions at customer sites.
* Diagnoses and resolves product and application method performance problems.
* Performs maintenance, compliance verification and hardware & software customer training delivery.
* Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.
* Addresses customer requests for service and communicates proactively before, during and after service.
* Collaborates with Agilent teams such as Support, Sales, Marketing and R&D to provide solutions to customers.
* May deliver internal technical trainings, seminars and workshops for field engineers.
Qualifications
* A completed university degree within the last 24 months in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or similar.
* Post-graduate, certification, and/or license may be required.
* Experience with computer/software/server connected equipment.
* 2/3 years of experience in method application development with equipment such as ICPMS, ICPOES for Madrid location or Chromatography equipment such as HPLC-QQQ, HPLC-QTOF for Sevilla area is a plus.
* You will need to be proactive and self-driven, as well as having curiosity and willingness to learn new products/services.
* Strong soft skills capabilities for this customer-facing role are mandatory.
* Full proficiency in Spanish and high level of English.
* Driver's license.

This full-time, permanent position, based in Spain, is available as soon as possible. The role won't be head-office based, but working remotely combined with short/medium-distance travel to customer sites within your assigned geography area (a company car will be available to you).
