This role is flexible to be based in Madrid, Barcelona or any EU country.The HR manager will be an individual contributor for Spain and will also support Europe countries. You will manage local HR operations in our Barcelona and Madrid offices for the day-to-day HR operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and effective people management at a local level.The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and will report to the EMEA HR.Job ResponsibilitiesHR OperationsOversee local HR operations, including payroll, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and offboarding.Manage day-to-day employee relations, including handling grievances, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and employee engagement activities.Ensure compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and HR governance standards.Drive operational HR processes, such as benefits administration, payroll coordination, and contract management.Conduct regular audits of HR processes and systems to maintain operational efficiency and compliance.Talent Development & Workforce ManagementPartner with department heads to identify training and development needs, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.Design and implement talent review and performance management processes to ensure alignment with business goals.Local HR Leadership:Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees and leaders inthe local office (Barcelona & Madrid), ensuring smooth operations and addressinglocal needs.Facilitate employee communications and act as a bridge between the local office and the global HR team to align on company-wide HR initiatives.Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting employee well-being and fostering a high-performance environment.Qualifications & SkillsBachelor's degree or relevant experience5+ years' experience in Human Resources as an HR Business Partner or in a general HR role.Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategiesDemonstrated expertise training managers and employeesStrong organizational, critical thinking and communications skillsFluent English. Additional languages is a plus.Attention to detail and good judgementStrong understanding of HR operations, including local employment laws for Spain and/or other European countries, employee relations, and HR processes.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for senior leaders.Experience partnering with senior leadership in a multi-disciplinary environment.Ability to manage both strategic HR initiatives and day-to-day operational HR responsibilities.Experience of handling complex transformational change is a plusRestructuring or reorgnisation experience is a plusMulti-territory experience, preferably to have an International experience.We are a business driven by values and our collaborative culture.
