What you will do…
As the Technical Sales Engineer, you will be part of the European Sales team, in particular, the Europe South team and help drive sales of all Johnson Controls Security Products Access control and Video brands in the region. You will report to the Sales Leader Europe South while being located near our regional headquarter in Madrid which hosts our innovation center.
As a team, you will be working with our internal and external partners in order to drive both short- and long-term sales. As the immediate contact person for our partners, you are to ensure that the voice and demands of the partners are accurately transferred to the TSP product organization.
How you will do it
1. Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Manager to shape and execute strategic initiatives within the region.
2. Develop and nurture customer relationships by coordinating, creating, and delivering comprehensive product sales training.
3. Support proof of concepts and provide assistance with detailed system designs tailored to meet the specific needs of our partners.
4. Create impactful demonstration tools that highlight the unique benefits of Tyco solutions across various targeted markets and regions.
5. Assist partners in navigating the complexities of tender documentation and project design, ensuring they have the necessary resources for success.
6. Maintain and expand our Madrid innovation center to meet the corporate standards.
7. Actively gather and communicate vital market intelligence to the Regional Sales Manager and Product Marketing Managers.
8. Facilitate the translation of local market requirements into both product development and marketing strategies, driving the success of our initiatives in a competitive landscape.
What we are looking for…
1. Engineer or Degree in Computer Science, Electronics or similar fields.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Technical knowledge of security products: Access control and Video products.
4. Ability to learn new products on medium to high technical level.
5. Business acumen while being IT-minded.
6. Proven report-writing, communication and presentation skills.
7. Highly developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
8. Ability to work in a team and to deal with stress.
9. High level of English and Spanish.
10. Valued level of Italian.
11. Flexible in travelling approx. 50%.
