We are seeking a passionate and experienced IB Art Teacher to join a leading international British school in Spain. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Art education across multiple levels, including the IB Diploma Programme (DP), IGCSE, and Key Stage 3. This role requires a dynamic educator who can inspire students, foster creativity, and support learners in developing technical and conceptual artistic skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Teach IB Diploma Programme (DP) Visual Arts, ensuring students are prepared for their final assessments and exhibitions.
* Deliver engaging and comprehensive Art lessons for Key Stage 3 and IGCSE students, following the British curriculum.
* Guide students in developing personal portfolios and projects that showcase their artistic growth and understanding.
* Encourage creativity, independent thinking, and critical analysis of art across different mediums and cultural contexts.
* Organize and oversee exhibitions, student showcases, and other creative initiatives within the school community.
* Provide constructive feedback and individualized support to students, nurturing their artistic abilities and confidence.
* Collaborate with colleagues in the Arts department and participate in cross-curricular projects where applicable.
* Maintain a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that supports artistic expression.
Requirements:
* A recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* A degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or a related field.
* Experience teaching IB DP Visual Arts, IGCSE, and Key Stage 3 Art.
* A strong understanding of IB and British curriculum standards, assessment methods, and best practices.
* A passion for fostering artistic talent and an innovative approach to teaching.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* International teaching experience is preferred but not required.
