As an Associate Logistics Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading logistics and supply chain operations within our Madrid Kit Room warehouse. You will oversee a team of professionals, ensuring operational excellence, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This is a dynamic leadership position where you will drive performance, optimize processes, and contribute to strategic decision-making to support business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership: Lead day-to-day logistics operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, and distribution, ensuring seamless execution and high performance.
2. Team Management & Development: Oversee and develop a team of supervisors and logistics professionals. Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development opportunities to ensure high engagement and performance.
3. Customer-Focused Logistics: Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, driving improvements in service levels and customer satisfaction while optimizing cost efficiency.
4. Process Improvement & Lean Management: Implement Lean methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.
5. KPI Management & Performance Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, warehouse productivity, and operational costs. Take proactive actions to meet and exceed targets.
6. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with internal teams, including supply chain, customer service, and sales, to align logistics operations with overall business goals.
7. Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ISO standards. Foster a culture of safety and quality within the logistics operations.
Your profile:
1. Bachelors or master university degree (preferably in Engineering or Logistics).
2. Fluent in Spanish and English.
3. 7 years of experience in operations: logistics or supply chain or customer service.
4. Minimum 3 years of experience as people manager.
5. Minimum of 1 year of experience applying Lean methodologies in an operational environment.
