Job Summary
Ensuring support for the sales force to achieve turnover targets applying specific and appropriate marketing strategies for own products competence and guarantees continuous support to the Commercial Management both in pre-sales and post-sales activities to achieve company objectives. In addition, clinical awareness and adoption of the Werfen solution increases in local market.
Key Accountabilities
1. Be responsible for the pre-sales planning of complex projects.
2. Support the sales process in defining the most suitable technical solutions to be presented to the customer.
3. Carry out product promotion activities towards customers to increase the visibility of the same on the market.
4. Collaborate with the Line manager in acquiring the market needs useful for the development of the product or service so as to be able to improve and possibly design new ones.
5. Participate in meetings with the sales force.
6. Plan, organize (in collaboration with the communication team), promote and actively participate in scientific events sponsored by Werfen (congresses, seminars, symposia) to strengthen scientific knowledge, image and establish the Werfen solutions as a standard of patient diagnostic management.
7. Actively participate in scientific days and events (seminars, local days) for strengthening the image of the company and promote products.
8. Have continuous contact with the sales office in order to monitor the negotiations in course.
9. Organize and carry out, during the year, training sessions for Specialists of product, Area Sales Manager and Sales Specialist.
10. Collaborate in the collection of data on competitors and market needs for improve product positioning and penetration.
11. Organize presentations and communications of operational circulars.
12. Implement the precise and functional management of commercial archives and the marketing sector.
13. Provide all necessary and updated marketing information and tools (e.g., presentations) to assist the BU in achieving its business objectives.
14. Gain an understanding of technical aspects related to products and services.
Networking/Key Relationships
Internal: Sales, Customer Services, Tenders, Offers, Logistics, Image and Advertising, Management control, QA, Administration, Human Resources.
External: Customers, Users, Suppliers, Opinion Leaders, Agencies.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position
Qualification: University Degree in Science or Engineering or technically oriented.
Experience: at least 2 years of experience in the role, preferably in the sector of in vitro diagnostics and/or medical sector.
