This senior-level role offers the chance to influence the future of mobility and take ownership of global compliance, safety and homologation strategies across a rapidly growing product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the homologation and safety team to ensure all vehicles meet global certification standards and regulations (EU, US, APAC and beyond)
* Manage vehicle and component certification processes, working with internal teams and external approval bodies
* Track regulatory developments worldwide and ensure ongoing compliance for all market regions
* Collaborate with R&D, engineering and product teams during development and redesigns to assess certification impact
* Define safety and homologation requirements and contribute to validation planning across the vehicle lifecycle
* Own regulatory deliverables for launch, including COC card management and vehicle recall strategy
* Represent the company in global regulatory discussions and industry working groups
* Lead efforts in EMI/EMC, cybersecurity, crash and impact validation to support vehicle approval
* Contribute to shaping company methodology around homologation and safety testing
Candidate Requirements:
* Degree qualified in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
* Strong leadership capability with hands-on experience of homologation and regulatory compliance for EVs
* In-depth knowledge of global vehicle certification processes and legislation (UNECE, ISO 26262, AECQ etc.)
* Proven success in delivering approvals for EV products, ideally including motorcycles or two-wheelers
* Able to manage complex, fast-paced projects and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) essential
Preferred Experience:
* Background in functional safety, vehicle validation or compliance for electric motorcycles
* Understanding of automotive cybersecurity frameworks (ISO/SAE 21434)
* Experience using PLM or version control systems
* Knowledge of embedded safety within hardware systems
