Simulation Software Engineer

Therefore, we are looking for a simulation software engineer in the scope of the Eurofighters flight simulator domain.
As part of the combat simulation team located in Getafe, you will work in an international group with continuous contact with our German colleagues.
The position includes the following tasks:
1. Derive system requirements from operational requirements for the latest simulator functionalities.
2. Update existing simulation models representing aircraft equipment.
3. Implement software models (C++ and ADA).
4. Create and perform unit/system/acceptance tests of the software (C++/Python, Jenkins).
5. Perform integration testing.
6. SW Configuration Management.
7. Develop tools for our test simulation systems (e.g., Code / ICD Generators).
8. Coordinate the development with our international partners and customers.
9. Write documents according to existing company processes.
Required Skills:
1. Experience in the Eurofighter program would be beneficial.
2. General Avionics knowledge is a plus.
3. Experience in software design testing.
4. Experience in procedural and object-oriented programming.
5. Experience in unit, system testing, and software integration.
6. Experience writing documentation in English according to the SW life cycle processes.
7. Very good knowledge of tools/technologies:
* DOORS
* C++, Ada 95, QML, OpenGL
* Scripting languages (Bash, Python, Powershell)
* Linux: advanced level is mandatory.
* Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery (Jenkins) would be beneficial.
* 3rd generation of software version control systems (Git)
* Communication Protocols Frameworks (TCP/IP, RS422, 1553,.. )
1. Experience in the simulation domain (avionics, rehostings, visual systems) would be beneficial.
2. Proactivity is key.
3. Capability to work independently.
4. Analytical structured thinking.
5. Very good English written and spoken.
6. Availability to travel occasionally is mandatory (mainly within the EU). Average of 1 week every two months.
