Administrative Coordinator (1 year Contractor)
Provide full administrative support to the team being responsible for:
* Coordinating large events including planning, organizing and implementation of a number of event activities, organization of meetings, travels, and accommodation, including booking meeting rooms, catering, and management of expense reports.
* Prioritizing workload involving multiple projects and timelines with minimal guidance.
* Using advanced level software programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Chem Draw, File Maker Pro, Access) to create graphs, charts, spreadsheets, and LCD presentations.
* Work order / PO processing, budget tracking, grants coordination.
* Assistance with documents managed by the department and point of contact with external providers.
A successful candidate should have:
* 3-5+ years administrative experience and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are required.
* Good proofreading and editing skills of technical documents.
* Advanced knowledge and experience using office software.
* Fluency in both written and spoken English.
* Ability to work under minimal supervision, receiving occasional direction from manager to perform non-routine job responsibilities and duties.
* High level of attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
* Good team player with a positive attitude.
