The UV-Vis Sales Specialist role is preferably based in Spain, within our dynamic Sales division. This position offers the chance to be part of a world-class team driving scientific innovation.

A commercial and technical channel manager position responsible for leading sales operations and market share objectives for UV Spectroscopy product line (NanoDrop and Cuvette based). This role is primarily working with Channels and includes direct business activities with major accounts.
A Day in the Life:
1. Handles and controls all channel sales activities with strategic direction for the related product lines and develops and implements channel sales strategies to meet and exceed assigned targets and expand business within territory.
2. Consistently long-term approach with focus on valuable channel sales and workflow selling to accelerate decision making and position versus competition.
3. Leading several large channel partners like Fisher, VWR & internal channel and in addition an independent channel partner network.
4. Keeping channel partners accountable to achieve their annual targets.
5. Setting objectives and delivering results that have direct impact on annual AOP achievement.
6. Perform Monthly and quarterly business reviews.
7. Conduct regular meetings and joint visits to promote strategic relationships.
Key to Success:
1. Successful Sales and support experience for related products.
2. Ability to collaborate with key decision makers at all levels.
3. Good verbal and written communication skills - Multilingual in Spanish and English.
Education:
1. Minimum degree level in Molecular Biology or Chemistry field with 5+ years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
1. Prior experience with UV-vis spectroscopy or related products and working with distribution channels.
2. Validated interpersonal skills, ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
3. Experience to work in a Matrix Organization desired.
4. This position requires frequent travel of up to 30-40% to customer sites and the ability to conduct presentations and product demonstrations, overnight stays needed.
5. Valid European driving licence.
