Due to our upcoming opening of Gran Hotel Taoro, 5* luxury hotel in Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife), and as part of the ongoing expansion of the hotel portfolio, we are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic candidate to take on the Sales Manager position within our cluster sales structure.
Overall objective of the position:
* Business development.
* Manage key accounts.
* Grow sales for the hotel portfolio in the luxury segment.
* Develop and execute the hotel's sales strategies (offline and online) for the achievement of the set targets.
Core work responsibilities:
* Analysis of the current customer account base and prospecting of potential target markets for the hotel.
* Propose strategies and tactics in order to maximise the volume of business needed for the properties.
* Co-ordination of pricing strategy and offers with the Revenue department.
* Handling of the budget items assigned to your responsibility.
* Participate as required in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
* Developing promotional materials to attract business in your markets.
* Communicating effectively to the database with promotions and product and/or operational updates.
* Organise and participate in educational trips and inspection visits for the promotion and further positioning of the hotel portfolio.
* Participating in relevant events and fairs and identifying other events of interest for the continued promotion of the hotels.
* Addressing and resolving any sales related problems or complaints.
* Maintaining positive relationships with customers to encourage business and foster product loyalty.
* Responsible for the Tour Operator channel in your markets.
* Management of Luxury travel agency consortias to enhance direct sales.

Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sales Manager in 4/5* Holiday Hotels.
* English and German speaking (native speaker or C1).
* Studies in Hospitality, Sales, Marketing or Sales and Distribution.
* Proven experience in key account management.
* Demonstrate strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
* Work well with a variety of different people.
* Strong negotiating skills.
