Senior Industrial ControllerEFI is looking for a Controller to support globally the Supply Chain and Operations Financial area in special our Textile business. This role is located at one of our key European manufacturing locations in Valencia, Spain.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management SIOP: Optimize inventory levels and working capital utilization across the supply chain. Be part of the SIOP team to minimize excess inventory, improve inventory turnover, and enhance cash flow.Cost Management: Work closely with supply chain leaders to analyze and manage costs throughout the supply chain, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Implement cost reduction strategies while maintaining quality and service levels.Budgeting Forecasting: Develop and maintain comprehensive financial budgets and forecasts for the supply chain function. Partner with supply chain leadership to create accurate and timely projections of costs, expenses, and inventory levels. Conduct variance analysis to identify and address deviations from planned performance. Implement robust forecasting methodologies to improve accuracy and support strategic decision-making.Financial Reporting and Metrics: Prepare and challenge the financial reports, KPIs, and performance metrics for the supply chain function. Monitor key financial indicators and provide insights to senior management. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and optimization of working capital/inventory.Process Improvement: Be part of the continuous improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain processes, enhance productivity, and reduce costs. Implement best practices and leverage technology solutions to drive efficiency.Logistics and Distribution Finance: Partner with logistics and distribution teams to optimize transportation costs, warehouse operations, and distribution networks. Analyze transportation routes, carrier contracts, and freight costs to drive efficiency.Supplier Relationship Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to assess supplier performance and negotiate favorable terms and contracts.Capital Expenditure Planning: Evaluate ROI and financial impact of capital projects.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and corporate policies. Identify and mitigate financial risks within the supply chain, including currency fluctuations, commodity prices, and geopolitical factors.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.4-6+ years of experience in finance, with a focus on supply chain finance, operations finance, or related field.Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, cost accounting, logistics, and procurement processes. Experience in lean and continuous improvement highly preferred.Experience partnering with business leaders to drive resultsExcellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.Strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and drive change.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Proven ability to develop and deliver insightful financial reports and interactive dashboards using Power BI, translating complex data into actionable business intelligence.Knowledge of ERP systems, financial software tools, supply chain management systems (e.g., SAP).Experience in a multi-site manufacturing environment.Fluency in the English language, with Spanish as a plus.
