Pastoral Facilitator - Competitive Salary + Benefits – NAVSTA ROTA, Cadiz (SPAIN)
The Role
Do you have experience leading workshops and facilitating training sessions? Are you skilled at supporting individuals through personal and professional development? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We are looking for a dedicated Pastoral Facilitator to join our team and assist in delivering impactful retreats, workshops, and training events. This role involves working closely with CREDO staff to provide high-quality facilitation for military personnel and their families.
As a Pastoral Facilitator, you will support the CREDO team by delivering retreats, workshops, and training sessions to enhance the well-being and resilience of service members and their families.
This position is full time on a 5-year contract, Jul 1, 2025 - June 30, 2030. Candidates must be available on the weekends, hours vary between 0730 and 1600.

Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate CREDO retreats, including Personal Resiliency, Marriage Enrichment, and Family Enrichment Retreats.
* Deliver a minimum of 32 CREDO-approved workshops per year.
* Conduct Suicide Prevention Training using approved programmes like ASIST and Safe Talk.
* Collect and analyse feedback to evaluate event effectiveness.
* Identify and propose new initiatives to enhance CREDO’s impact.
* Promote CREDO programmes at command meetings and through networking.
* Refer service members and families to appropriate support services.
* Work collaboratively with Navy professionals to improve intervention services.
* Assist with curriculum development, lesson planning, and event coordination.
* Attend quarterly meetings with the CREDO Director.
The Person:
* At least one year of experience in facilitation, training, or assessment.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* The ability to support individuals affected by trauma or loss.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience in leading and supporting group discussions.
* A relevant master’s degree in Divinity, Counselling, Social Work, Education, or a related field OR retired U.S. Military personnel with 20 years of service and five years of formal training experience.
