We are seeking a dynamic Product Operations Intern to support our empowered product team in enhancing impactful English language learning solutions and contributing to business success.
As the Product Operations Intern, you will assist in coordinating efforts across various teams, providing critical support in managing product lifecycle processes that enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
Overview
This internship is ideal for a motivated individual who is looking to gain valuable experience in product operations and contribute to the success of Wall Street English’s mission.
You will collaborate closely with the head of product and product trios, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, consisting of developers, product designers, and education and content specialists. Your role will be to support the team in delivering business and customer outcomes. By assisting in identifying and assessing communication and coordination opportunities, you will aid the product function in contributing towards effective and efficient solutions aligned with company goals.
Key responsibilities
Your main measure of success will be represented through the customer and business outcomes aided by your support. In the areas below, you will:
* Opportunities: assist in identifying, organizing, and prioritizing product opportunities based on inputs from users, industry trends, and stakeholder feedback.
* Discovery: support analysis and user testing processes by aiding in the collection of relevant data and provision of insights that help address complex problems and reduce risks.
* Delivery: facilitate collaboration by contributing learnings from the product development cycle and maintaining essential documentation that supports optimization of product ways of working.
* Objectives: help track progress on objectives aligned with the company's goals, facilitating team engagement to achieve significant outcomes, while learning from experienced team members.
* Planning: assist in documenting and sharing medium-term priorities while supporting communication around project releases and timelines.
* Collaboration: promote productive communication among team members, assisting with the reporting of results, insights, and product updates to stakeholders and leadership.
Skills & qualifications
* Strong interest in product management and product operations, with an eagerness to learn about agile methodologies and product development methodologies.
* Basic understanding of online technologies, learning management systems, and various digital tools is a plus.
* Ability to learn and adapt quickly to multiple functional areas of business: engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
* Strong analytical skills, with experience in collecting and interpreting data favored.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and constructive relationships.
* A proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and contribute ideas.
* Proficient in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
