Sierra Recovery, Malaga, Spain, is currently seeking a Clinic Lead and Senior therapist to join our dedicated team.
About the Role :
As the Clinic Lead at Sierra Recovery, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the clinical delivery of our addiction treatment program. This position requires a highly experienced and skilled professional who can lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that our treatment approach remains structured, effective, and evidence-based.
You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of care, providing clinical oversight, and ensuring that all therapy—whether group, individual, or family-focused—is delivered with consistency and integrity. This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to mentor and guide therapists, and a commitment to continuously improving clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities :
* Leading and supervising the clinical team to ensure best practices in addiction treatment.
* Providing direct clinical care, including group therapy, individual therapy, and case management.
* Ensuring treatment plans are effectively tailored to meet individual client needs.
* Upholding clinical policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care.
* Collaborating with senior leadership to develop and refine treatment programmes.
* Supporting staff development through training, supervision, and mentorship.
* Overseeing risk management and safeguarding practices within the clinic.
Specifics :
* Fluent English Language
* You must have the legal right to work in Spain.
* This is a full-time position—five days a week.
* Staying informed about the latest developments in addiction and mental health treatment.
Requirements :
* Degree in Counselling, Psychotherapy, Psychology, or a related field.
* Professional certification / license in counselling.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in addiction / mental health therapy.
* Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
