Integration Specialist Mulesoft

We are looking for a seasoned professional for the role of Application Integration Specialist. The Application Integration Specialist's role is to participate in the planning, coordination, and solution development and implementation activities related to the integration of applications and technologies within the organization's application integration environment. The new position will be located in Madrid and the scope will be European. The Application Integration Specialist will be part of the European Application team and directly report to the Head of Integration. Occasionally, it will be required to participate in other projects or applications to provide technical assistance to different teams. Europe travels could be required occasionally.
Job Description
We are looking for a person with a solid background in API Development:
1. Design, build, and test APIs and integrations using MuleSoft's Anypoint Studio and other components of the Anypoint Platform including RAML specifications and DataWeave transformations.
2. Develop integration solutions to connect various enterprise systems and third-party applications.
3. Knowledge of various MuleSoft connectors and adapters to integrate with different systems and technologies, such as databases, CRM systems, messaging queues, and cloud platforms.
4. Provide support for existing in-house and 3rd party applications and reporting in a fast-paced environment.
5. Perform break-fix analysis on existing code and troubleshoot issues reported via end-users both internal and external.
6. Implement data mapping, transformations, and workflows to support business needs.
7. Identify and resolve technical issues in integrations and APIs, ensuring minimal downtime.
8. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for integration projects.
Job Requirements
Background:
* At least 5 years of experience in an Integration role; Mulesoft knowledge is a must.
* MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect will be valuable.
Required Skills:
* Experience with C# is a plus.
* Strong background in integration technologies, including REST, SOAP, and messaging protocols.
* Strong knowledge of XML and JSON.
* Proficiency in API security frameworks (e.g., OAuth, JWT) and compliance standards.
