What you will do
As a Sr. Pricing Manager at Johnson Controls, you will own the price setting governance and execution within the South & West Europe(S&WE) Region and Systems EMEALA.
The primary objective will be to develop and execute on price strategy and implementation across SWE region and for Systems EMEALA. You will partner with S&WE & EMEALA Systems stakeholders, pricing analysts and local pricing champions to utilize insights and create, maintain and refine pricing models, pricing benchmarks, pricing indicators and pricing tools. You will support different P&L owners by driving the regional pricing execution cadence and act as a challenger to drive margin expansion. You will coach and give direction to local pricing champions to lead local pricing execution activities, as well as gather and consolidate market insights and discover potential new pricing opportunities.
How you will do it
* Drive value capture by executing pricing strategy guidance in key geographies and lines of business.
* Set targets, develop strategies, refine operating models, procedures and guidance necessary to ensure continuity from decision making to pricing actions and P&L impact.
* Support a focused pricing organization embedded in the business.
* Work with regional management to improve financial performance by helping to define the basis of how Johnson Controls competes and wins.
* Support decision making of senior level stakeholders to identify business opportunities, solve complex problems and improve business performance by using advanced analytics and visualization tools.
What we look for
* Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
* At least 10 years of experience in pricing execution.
* Strong research and synthesis skills (e.g., translate analysis and facts into implications and recommendations).
* Resilient, pragmatic, action-oriented and impact driven. Strong stakeholder management skills. Experience in change management.
* Experience in complex, geographically dispersed matrix organizations.
* Ability to develop validation processes in order to ensure data integrity / accuracy.
* Comfortable with financial KPIs, data, data structures and databases (SQL, SAP, …).
* Knowledge of internal JCI processes or experience in any of our lines of business is a plus.
* Expertise in use of analytics, statistics, and visualization software is a plus (e.g., Tableau, R, Alteryx, SAS).
* Fluent English required. Additional European languages are a plus.
