Job Description:
Summary:
As a Project Manager for Transportation Systems in Ferrovial, you will have the opportunity to participate in some of the world’s most challenging projects in tolling and mobility. You will apply your deep technical and management expertise to design and deploy cloud-based solutions at scale.
The Project Manager for Transportation Systems is a project leader with a solid technical background who will have an essential role in integrating the project functions and resources across the product life cycle, right from planning, building, testing, and deployment to support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Work with different stakeholders to understand customer requirements, project environment and KPIs as a starting point to define innovative, large-scale, digitally enabled systems.
* Actively participate in the projects assigned to guarantee they are delivered to our clients fulfilling the expected objectives and within the established time and budget constraints.
* Manage functional and non-functional requirements and compliance, defining and prioritizing enablers to control technical debt.
* Oversee the work of external suppliers involved in the projects under your responsibility.
* Participate in technical and follow-up discussions to report on project status.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
* Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
* 4-8 years of experience performing the functions described above.
* Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices.
* Knowledge of microservices and distributed applications, such as containers, AKS, and/or serverless technology is desired.
* Knowledge of cloud native technologies and architectures, deployment applications, and provisioning of infrastructure is desired. It will be positively evaluated experience with Azure Suite.
* Knowledge of cloud native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as Azure DevOps is desired.
* Knowledge of CRM packages (especially Dynamics 365) will be positively evaluated.
* Knowledge of the tolling industry and previous experience with Toll Collections Systems will be positively evaluated.
