Responsibilities & Duties (80%)
* Create product specification plans and documentation based on the requests as provided by the customer or Sales team.
* Provide internal and external technical support to customers to clarify specification issues and support the successful project completion.
* Develop project solutions according to the standard framework, ensuring quality, efficiency, and appropriate timescale of the project in coordination with the Sales Engineers.
* Create and ensure appropriate project documentation and information management in the relevant internal and external systems.
* Supervise all customer orders with regards to technical fit to the project definition, as identified in the design phase of the projects, to avoid after sales issues.
* Suggest, develop and maintain appropriate tools to improve the pre-sales support and documentation.
* Coordinate and control outsourced design office resources, keep record of their work, and be the first point of contact for invoice control.
* Support the tracking and reporting of project conversion ratios.
Qualification & Experience
* Relevant University Degree or equivalent practical and vocational knowledge and experience.
* 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field.
* Strong skills working with CAD tools and other relevant design software.
Knowledge & Skills
* Proficient understanding and know-how in processes, technologies, products, or other relevant fields of expertise.
* Effective utilization of recognized planning, analytical, or conceptual principles and techniques.
* Understands the impact of legislation and law regulations relevant to the business or function.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under stress.

* To be cost-effective in all contracts and purchasing undertaken in the department.
* Proactively look to take cost out of the department/business through efficiency and automation.

* Partaking of all corporate requirements e.g. ISM, CSR, Antibribery & Corruption, Competition Law.
* Benchmarking activities.
* General administration.
* Undertaking of any project within the skill set of the position.
* Attendance of required training.
* Undertaking of business trips.
* Always keep safety in mind and act in a safe manner.
* Ensure H&S breaches are reported.
