We are hiring an Affiliate Manager! StarcasinoGreen Island is part of Starcasino.be group, a gambling company with +35 years of experience, supporting all its brands (Starcasino, Starcasino Dice, Starcasino Sport, Hotwin, and Solcasino) and markets (Belgium, Netherlands, and Spain). We are looking for an Affiliate Manager for our subsidiary in Spain, who will be responsible for the acquisition, management, and retention of the company's affiliate accounts. The candidate should be prepared to take on the challenge of building, managing, and leading a dedicated team in Spain, with the potential to also oversee other markets in the future. This position is ideal for someone who is not only strategic and analytical but also brings a practical approach to leadership, motivation, and team dynamics. The selected candidate will play a key role in driving the acquisition, optimization, and management of accounts while working to achieve ambitious goals. What You’ll Be Doing
1. Coordinate the recruitment, management, and retention of affiliate accounts.
2. Provide necessary feedback on Spanish market practices in affiliation (best practices/know-how).
3. Manage new projects that support the conversion and retention of new and existing affiliates who are incorporated into the program.
4. Develop unique content for monthly affiliate newsletters, including updates on the affiliate industry as well as other relevant content for affiliates.
5. Manage a portfolio of existing affiliates through email, phone, newsletters, and forums to maximize revenue generation.
6. Manage PPC campaigns, media buying, and social media.
7. Formulate a metrics-based approach to evaluate the ROI of various customer acquisition channels.
8. Continuously monitor and optimize the different acquisition channels of the existing portfolio of affiliates and potential future affiliates.
9. Maintain full knowledge and understanding of appropriate legislation and best practices for affiliate marketing initiatives.
What You'll Need
1. Fluency in English and Spanish. Additional language such as French or Dutch is very appreciated.
2. Experience: At least 3 years in similar roles (experience in the online gaming sector will be highly valued).
3. Proven track record in managing and growing affiliate programs.
4. Negotiation and sales skills, with the ability to resolve different problems that may arise.
5. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
6. Knowledge in statistics and BI tools will be valued.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Knowledge of affiliate marketing best practices and industry trends.
9. Proficiency in using marketing analytics tools and CRM systems.
10. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
11. Understanding of relevant legislation and ethical considerations in affiliate marketing.
12. High level of initiative and self-motivation.
13. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
14. Ability to manage digital budgets and coordinate with agencies and media.
15. Advanced knowledge of Excel.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement global SEO strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.
2. Conduct thorough market analysis to understand the market dynamics, user behavior, and competitor strategies.
3. Perform detailed keyword research to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
4. Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
5. Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code.
6. Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific.
7. Help to create and support marketing content to socialize and use for social media purposes (e.g., customer video briefs, customer case studies, blog posts, posts from analysts and customers).
8. Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards (XML sitemaps/webmaster tools) to diagnose SEO performance and identify key areas for improvement.
9. Keep pace with SEO algorithm changes and marketing trends.
10. Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results.
