Software Development Engineer
Take the lead in developing our innovative FireTV partner products.
About the Role
We're seeking exceptional talent to join our Fire TV team as Software Development Engineers.
Our mission is to deliver a seamless, secure, and engaging customer experience with continuous feature updates throughout a device's lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities
* Design, develop, implement, test, and document distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
* Evaluate and decide on the use of new or existing software products and tools.
* Mentor junior engineers.
About the Team
The FireTV 3P engineering team focuses on bringing captivating FireTV experiences to third-party devices.
This is an opportunity to design, develop, and own software that disrupts the TV viewing experience and impacts billions of viewers and devices.
Requirements
* Professional experience in software development (non-internship).
* Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems.
* Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
* Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
