The Education Sales Representative will develop business with existing customers and bring in new ones.
Responsibilities:
The role is sales-focused and target-driven. You will be responsible for securing new business and maintaining an excellent level of customer service to current customers. The individual will be required to plan strategies and develop all key relationships to ensure a strong foundation for solution selling. Maintaining and promoting relationships with customer contacts who will be determining design opportunities and dealing with existing business challenges.
Your tasks include:
1. Define critical markets and new customers in the assigned sales territory, plan strategy and develop all key relationships to ensure a strong foundation for solution selling.
2. Maintain and promote relationships with customer contacts who may be determining design opportunities and dealing with existing business challenges.
3. Ensure customer satisfaction as it pertains to supply chain management and other value-added services. Requires experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical and engineering environment.
4. Extensive understanding of training programs and models within the IT distribution industry.
5. Have a clear record of what projects each customer has and what stage they are at.
6. Requires comprehensive ability to develop strategic plans for all assigned accounts, sell and market the full set of Arrow offerings incorporating knowledge of Arrow's key supplier lines.
7. Must be able to promote and sell the value add, supply chain, and full life cycle programs offered by Arrow.
