In this position, you will be managing the local Spanish logistic activities and our Third-Party Supplier, who performs warehousing and transportation activities in Spain (ES).
Tasks:
1. Supervise execution of warehousing (Goods Receipt, Storage, Picking, Packing, Goods Issue, Returning, Disposal), transportation, and local supply of Finished Goods in Spain.
2. Optimize transportation and distribution networks for finished goods to ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics operations.
3. Actively manage the supplier performance through systematic and analytical performance review meetings.
4. Seek continuous improvement in the assigned scope; challenge existing processes and align with our supplier for improvement potentials.
5. Ensure active inventory management including ensuring aligned stock between FME & our 3PLs, check and further develop existing interface between the systems.
6. Manage stock aging together with local planning and business team; organize scrapping.
7. Design & deploy new processes, best practices, standards, and operational plans for the Supply Chain Management function, controlling document flow, including invoices for accounting.
8. Check and validate invoices for final approval by your department.
9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to all Supply Chain activities.
10. Ensure appropriate and accurate communication with stakeholders (vendors, internal and external customers, and other FME functions).
11. Collaborate and design reporting and dashboards linked to the scope of work indicated.
12. Ensure the appropriate rollout of the contracts with vendors in the scope of work, and follow up proactively on their performance accordingly.
13. Review, control, and manage local budget regarding categories, GLs, and cost centers under scope.
14. Contribute to efficient inventory management.
Requirements:
1. +3 years in an international Supply Chain organization in healthcare/MedTec industry with multiple functional experience (warehousing, transportation, demand planning, procurement, etc.).
2. Solid understanding of End-to-End Supply Chain Management with deep knowledge in logistics operations.
3. University degree in an economical or technical field with a specialization in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or something similar.
4. Experienced in a logistics environment (+5 years).
5. Proven track record for vendor/contract management.
6. Experience managing supply chain indicators, processes, and market requirements.
7. Effective communication skills across all levels within the organization.
8. Result-driven and customer-oriented working mode.
9. Analytical mindset with high problem-solving capability.
10. Appreciation of diverse cultures.
11. Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office tool suite, especially in Excel.
12. SAP knowledge in the ERP modules SD & MM.
13. Knowledge in different Warehouse Management software (Elvis, WM, EWM).
14. Knowledge in planning software (SAP APO, SAP IBP).
15. Willingness to travel.
16. Driving license.
17. Fluent in English speaking and writing.
18. Fluent in Spanish.
