As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing data pipelines, empowering our organization with seamless data flows and actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Pipeline Mastery: Architect and maintain high-performance data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources into our data warehouse.
2. Data Modelling Excellence: Build robust, scalable data models that align with business goals and ensure the highest levels of data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
3. Data Transformation Wizardry: Develop cutting-edge workflows to turn raw data into meaningful insights, powering decisions across the organization.
4. Database Solutions: Implement and manage storage solutions using both relational and NoSQL databases, as well as cloud-based systems like GCP, ensuring scalable and secure data handling.
5. Data Governance & Quality: Champion data governance practices and implement quality control measures to maintain pristine data throughout its lifecycle.
6. Data Security Guardian: Safeguard data through rigorous security protocols, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations and industry standards.
7. Performance Optimization: Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in data processing pipelines, ensuring fast, efficient, and reliable data flow.
8. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Create proactive monitoring systems for pipelines and data quality, and quickly resolve any issues to guarantee continuous data availability.
9. Comprehensive Documentation: Document data pipelines, models, and processes with clarity, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and team onboarding.
