With a strong presence across Europe and a commitment to innovation, we are seeking a dynamic Associate Direct Procurement to join our team.Key Responsibilities:Strategy Development: Formulate and implement procurement strategies to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.Supplier Relationship Management: Identify and establish partnerships with profitable suppliers, negotiate advantageous terms, and ensure optimal pricing and quality to create value for the organization.Market Analysis: Monitor current market trends and supplier portfolios to identify opportunities for competitive advantages and innovative procurement solutions.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in a multicultural environment, collaborating effectively across multiple time zones with colleagues from various backgrounds to drive portfolio optimization and consolidation.Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines related to the chemical category, and perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements.Supply Continuity: Develop contingency plans to ensure the security of supply, addressing potential sole-source risks.Reporting and Metrics: Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve procurement effectiveness.Minimum Qualifications:Educational Background: Bachelor's degree Chemistry, or a related field is a MUSTProfessional Experience: 5-7 years of procurement experience, preferably in raw material or direct purchasing within industrial, cosmetic, or pharmaceutical environments.International Exposure: Proven experience in dealing with international suppliers and understanding diverse markets.Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.Technical Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract management skills, with proficiency in supplier or third-party management software.Soft Skills: Ability to work independently with proactiveness, agility, and a problem-solving mindset; strong organizational and planning capabilities.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced Degree: Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.Industry Experience: Experience in a pharmaceutical environment is a strong plus.Project Management: Demonstrated history of teamwork and project management skills.Compensation & Benefits:Salary: Competitive salary aligned with market standards.
