JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Senior Sales Manager plays a key role in the growth of our Spanish platform and forms part of our European Sales Hub. The Senior Sales Manager will build, manage, and scale our Sales platform in Spain across Student Accommodation, Multifamily (Build to Rent), and Flexible Living.
In this role, you will create and deliver B2C and B2B leasing strategies, oversee the launch of new properties and portfolios, drive our leasing performance forward, and lead our central leasing and B2B teams.

Key Role Responsibilities
* Lead the Sales department to achieve the department and business objectives.
* Create, launch, and deliver leasing strategies across all areas of the business and oversee the launch of new products delivered to the market.
* Create a B2B department that can support all of our properties and markets, maintaining client relationships that can support all of our products and markets.
* Deliver B2C leasing strategies that support the business objectives.
* Act as the subject matter expert for Sales-related technology decisions and implementations across the business.
* Recruit, coach, and develop team members to create a high-performing department.
* Deliver Sales training across the business to support the development of all team members involved in the leasing processes.
* Own the department's annual budgeting process.
* Manage the relationship with our external call centre to maximize performance, setting clear KPIs and measuring performance output.
* Develop scalable and adaptable leasing solutions for our Spain portfolio using technology enablers and people.
* Inform the wider business on the sales department performance by delivering reporting on the Sales team, property leasing, and competitor analysis.
* Forecast and manage resourcing levels in the department to match consumer demand and seasonal fluctuations.
* Cover the Sales Director's responsibilities in their absence, ensuring work is organized and executed in line with Greystar expectations.
* Work in collaboration with operations teams to deliver all elements of the leasing cycle including lead generation, lead conversion, tours, leasing, and renewals.
* Manage strategic relationships with key demand channels such as OTA’s and third-party agents to identify areas of opportunity to improve the sales funnel and conversion optimization.
* Help define the Greystar standards for the quality and consistency of our Sales touch points.
* Create and maintain the use of Sales aids such as call script frameworks, email response templates, and knowledge databases.
* Act as the Voice of the Customer, championing change and improvements across the customer experience.
* Improve NPS (Net Promoter Score) – CSAT (Customer Satisfaction), Mystery shopping or other customer metrics.
Experience & Skills
* A strong influencer and relationship builder; both internally and externally.
* Experience in setting up, scaling, and leading a high-performing B2C and B2B sales department.
* Strong numerate and communication skills including the ability to prepare and sell business proposals.
* Experience in leading people and talent development.
* Experience of successfully driving leasing/sales performance and managing operations including P&L responsibility and budget monitoring within the property sector or similar environment.
* Understanding of Sales or Leasing cycles.
* Experience of working with and driving action from consumer data.
* A demonstrable knowledge of relevant technology and processes of customer acquisition technologies.
* Excellent organization skills, including the ability to prioritize workload and show good judgment under pressure.
* Fluent English verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of the residential real estate market.
* Additional language capabilities such as French, Italian, or Portuguese.
