We are looking for a Project Manager / Integration Specialist to join our team on a 6-12 month basis to lead the business integration of recent BMS acquisitions across Spain.
Main responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end integration process, translating business requirements into integration needs
* Launch integration workstreams by coordinating cross-functional teams (commercial, operations, finance, compliance, IT) in the creation of the integration roadmap
* Communicate project goals and progress to key stakeholders through status meetings, status reports, ad-hoc communications, and project presentations
* Develop and maintain integration metrics and provide visibility to project progress (milestones, risks), budget, synergies, and KPIs
* Partner with workstreams throughout the duration of the integration by monitoring deliverables and identifying interdependencies, issues, and escalating risks
* Collaborate with Workstream Leads to ensure project plan deliverables are met timely
* Manage budgets – including initial estimation, tracking of actuals, and understanding variances
* Drive transition to BAU (ensuring criteria are met, creation of documentation, etc.)
* Capture lessons learned and recommendations for future acquisitions
* Contribute to improving the overall M&A integration playbook, including processes, methodology, tools and best practices to accelerate speed and effectiveness of future integrations
What we´re looking for: skills and capabilities
* Experience in PMO work using different systems/tools, preferably in a corporate environment
* Experience executing post-acquisition integration projects, preferably in the Financial Services sector
* Ability to interact and communicate effectively and build strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation
* Ability to work independently and proactively
* Ability to complete time sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to handle projects with multiple workstreams, with proven leadership success over a wide variety of functional business problems
* Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills to monitor project progress and communicate key messages to senior stakeholders
* Creative problem solver who can think analytically and strategically
* Professional fluency in Spanish & English since this role will work closely with global colleagues in London, Spain and Latin America
