Overview:
As the Business Development Specialist, you’ll play a key role in the portfolio definition of the company, providing new solutions to patients. You will support the candidates identification, project evaluation through cross-functional teams, and proposing the selected candidates to the board. This role involves close collaboration with the Business Development team and other external departments.
Responsibilities:
1. Prospect, identify and evaluate new business opportunities worldwide.
2. Conduct in-depth market research and therapeutic area analysis.
3. Identify customer needs, respond to inquiries, and propose creative solutions or business models in a timely manner.
4. Coordinate transversal teams and solve problems and doubts during the project evaluation.
5. Provide regular reports on progress and opportunities.
6. Support in any other activities required in the Business Development Department.
Qualifications:
1. Education: Pharmacy degree or life sciences degree.
2. Languages: Spanish and English (advanced level).
3. Experience: 1-2 years in Pharma industry, preferably in business development (generic business).
4. Specific Knowledge: Excel skills, data analysis.
5. Travels: No (occasional to 1-2 conferences/year).
6. Personal skills: Excellent communication skills, proactive, goal-oriented approach with a high level of self-motivation, driven approach towards decision making, ability to work independently and within a team is a must. Good organizational skills and problem solving.
