Reporting to the Network Services Manager, the Senior Engineer - IT Infrastructure role will be responsible for maintaining infrastructure in our Data Center and assisting with different teams in the IT organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT infrastructure, cable management, including networking, data center operations, platform, and server management.
Your Day To Day
1. Implement and manage the company's IT infrastructure in our Data Center and IT closets.
2. Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the IT infrastructure.
3. Monitor and maintain the performance of the IT infrastructure, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
4. Maintain documentation for Data Center infrastructure, including elevations and site designs.
5. Provide local technical support to other IT team members.
6. Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.
7. Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external service providers as needed.
8. Ensure a secure and stable network environment by overseeing the regular monitoring and maintenance of networks.
9. Provide high-level technical support for our platforms and solutions.
10. Ensure network compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
11. Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
12. Have a "look ahead" attitude in developing solutions.
13. Perform any other related duties prioritized by the Network Services Manager.
Who You Are
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering or related field.
2. High level of understanding in the network, telecom, and firewall fields.
3. 3+ years working with network and telecommunications technologies.
4. 3+ years integrating different infrastructure technologies.
5. 3+ years of infrastructure architecture/design.
6. Understanding in Arista switches and Cloud Vision, Cisco routers and switches, Nexus switches, Python, SolarWinds network configuration manager (NCM), Aruba Clear Pass Policy Manager, Cisco Prime/DNA, Cisco/Arista Wireless, Cisco SDWAN are all preferred.
7. CCNP or CCIE Professional certification or Arista equivalent a plus.
