The Role
As a Sales Manager at Nitex, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and expanding Nitex’s presence within the fashion and apparel industry. You will play a key role in growing our portfolio of brand partners, ranging from emerging designers to established fashion labels.
What You’ll Do
* Lead new business outreach by identifying, targeting, and engaging fashion brands, retailers, and emerging designers in need of high-quality manufacturing solutions.
* Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, ensuring a steady flow of new business opportunities.
* Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their production needs and presenting Nitex’s solutions.
* Revenue Growth – Increased production volume and sales from existing accounts.
* Executive Engagement – Show both depth and quality of relationships with senior decision-makers.
* Own the sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and deal closure.
* Collaborate with internal teams (production, sourcing, and operations) to align client needs with Nitex’s capabilities.
* Stay on top of industry trends to identify growth opportunities and position Nitex as a preferred partner in fashion manufacturing.
* Represent Nitex at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities.
Who You Are
* 3-5+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships—preferably in apparel, textiles, or manufacturing or with a demonstrable interest in the industry.
* A proven track record of closing deals and growing revenue in a sales or partnerships environment.
* Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the awareness and energy able to engage C-level executives and key decision-makers.
* Strategic thinker who can identify and capitalize on high-value opportunities.
* Comfortable with pricing structures, contract negotiations, and long-term partnership strategies.
* A self-starter with a hunter mentality, eager to prospect and close new business deals.
* Excellent communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
* Experience managing a sales pipeline and using CRM tools to track and optimize outreach.
* Passionate about fashion, supply chain, and manufacturing with an understanding of production processes.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, adapting to changes, and taking ownership of key initiatives.
Nice to Have
* Existing network in the fashion industry (brands, retailers, designers).
* Experience with fashion supply chain operations or product sourcing.
* Knowledge of sustainable and ethical manufacturing practices.
