We are seeking a dynamic Asset Manager to oversee both the technical and commercial aspects of our operating renewable energy assets. This role is pivotal in optimizing asset performance, ensuring financial returns, and managing stakeholder relationships.
What will you be doing:
1. Oversee day-to-day operations of renewable energy projects, ensuring high availability and performance.
2. Monitor real-time SCADA data, performance metrics, and KPIs to assess asset health and efficiency.
3. Collaborate with O&M providers, contractors, and site teams to optimize operational performance and resolve technical issues.
4. Analyze and manage grid compliance, curtailment, and network constraints to maximize energy output.
5. Manage financial performance of assets, ensuring they meet revenue and profitability targets.
6. Oversee power purchase agreements (PPAs), O&M contracts, insurance policies, and financing agreements.
7. Conduct financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting to evaluate asset profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities.
8. Act as the primary point of contact for investors, utilities, grid operators, and regulators.
9. Negotiate and manage contracts, including PPAs, land lease agreements, and O&M service contracts.
10. Develop performance improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics and industry benchmarks.
Are you the ideal candidate?
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business administration, or a related field.
2. 5 years of experience in asset management, operations, or financial management within the solar, wind, or BESS sectors.
3. Strong knowledge of technical operations, performance optimization, and maintenance strategies for renewable assets.
4. Experience in financial modeling, energy trading, PPA structuring, and contract negotiation.
