Account Manager – Beer & Beverage Marketing – Barcelona, Spain
Taphandles Cerviteca SL (Spain), the Spanish subsidiary of Taphandles LLC (USA), is expanding with an assembly, sales, and service operation in Barcelona. We are seeking an Account Manager to help grow and manage our client relationships across Spain, the EU, and beyond.
Taphandles is a global leader in beer marketing, specializing in bespoke marketing-oriented beer fonts and tap handles. Through creativity, design, and high-end craftsmanship, we help breweries elevate their brand presence and sell more beer.
This is an in-person, full-time role based at our new Barcelona facility.
About the Role:
As Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our customer base throughout Spain and the European Union. You’ll collaborate closely with teams in sales, marketing, design, engineering, manufacturing, and operations to deliver exceptional service and drive business growth.
This role requires strong communication skills in both Spanish and English, a hands-on approach, and a passion for helping breweries succeed. Occasional travel within Europe and internationally to trade shows, customer sites, and company offices may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead outbound sales efforts to grow our order book across Spain and the EU.
* Maintain daily communication with customers and external partners (e.g., vendors, branding agencies) on ongoing and new projects.
* Directly support customers through the project lifecycle, ensuring high levels of service and communication.
* Manage and maintain accurate CRM (NetSuite) data, tracking the sales pipeline in real time.
* Prepare sales reports, participate in project proposals, and support business development initiatives.
* Develop knowledge of the beer and beverage industries, including market trends, consolidation, and operational changes.
* Foster cross-functional collaboration across departments, showing a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.
* Support other projects and initiatives as assigned.
Preferred Experience & Attributes:
* Bachelor’s degree.
* Prior sales experience in the beer or beverage industry is preferred.
* Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and ERP systems; NetSuite experience a plus.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in Spanish and English.
* Full driving license (B category).
* Valid EU passport or permanent residence status within the EU.
* Valid passport and ability to travel within Europe and internationally.
