Meet the team: Join our dynamic marketing team at Dexcom, where we are dedicated to launching and growing our brand in new markets. As the Marketing Director for our product in South Cluster markets, you will lead cross-functional efforts to establish our brand identity, positioning, and go-to-market strategy. You will oversee all aspects of brand marketing activities, including DTC and HCP advertising, eCommerce & reimbursed sales development, PR & ambassador programs. We are looking for someone with significant brand marketing experience in an international setting, with full proficiency in both DTC and/or professional marketing.
Where you come in:
* You will be the strategic brand expert driving Dexcom’s commercial brand strategy within geographies, focusing on the Dexcom ONE entry-level product.
* You will design and implement a Go-to-Market (Marketing) Strategy, including brand positioning, communication strategy, promotional strategy, and consumer targeting.
* You will contribute to Dexcom's overall strategic direction as part of the marketing leadership team.
* You will work effectively with local marketing teams to ensure consistent strategic and tactical implementation of global and regional communication programs and initiatives.
* You will partner with the product marketing team to establish the global launch roadmap and new product features development.
* You will leverage market data, customer segmentation, competition mapping, value proposition, and competitive advantage.
* You will build overall brand awareness, recognize and react to market trends, and deliver localized campaigns to meet aggressive growth targets.
* You will propose and implement plans and tactics to grow the business.
* You will manage all market intelligence activities to provide data and analysis to the relevant team members.
* You will establish KPIs for all programs, create results forecasts, and track performance to ensure marketing plans deliver expected business outcomes.
* You will lead the transformation toward an omnichannel approach.
* You will represent the Southern cluster in the external partnership group.
* You will build, lead, motivate, and mentor your team, providing guidance on a daily basis.
* You will support field (and partner) needs, including brand training and best-in-class tactical tools for engagement with customers in face-to-face and remote/digital settings.
* You will provide strong project management/leadership on key communications activities and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time with a high level of quality, in accordance with Compliance, Legal, and Regulatory requirements.
What makes you successful:
* You have approximately 12 years of healthcare marketing experience with a demonstrated record of modern marketing execution, launches, business plan development, and/or classical marketing training.
* You have a consumer &/or professional marketing background, with experience in brand management, strategy development and deployment, and a strong background in meeting results.
* You have experience scaling marketing, both online and offline, in a consumer-focused healthcare/technology company.
* You have experience in omnichannel marketing strategy.
* You have strong social skills and a collaborative style, able to work with multiple partners simultaneously and influence them.
* You are a strategic thinker, unfazed by occasional ambiguity, and good at adapting to change.
* You have a high degree of creativity to support the ideation of marketing campaigns that appeal to a diverse range of customers.
* You are savvy and comfortable making recommendations using different digital channels and platforms.
* You have proven people management experience.
* You have a strong knowledge of building and gaining alignment to a suite of reporting metrics that drive ROI and inform performance.
* You have a deep appreciation for detail and executional excellence. You are insights-driven and excited to roll up your sleeves to deliver exceptional quality at speed.
* You have experience working with legal, regulatory, and marketing agencies.
Experience and Education Requirements:
* Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of healthcare industry experience.
* 9+ years of successful management experience in the healthcare industry.
