ABOUT THE JOB.
As an FEA/Design Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing mechanical systems for railway cooling applications. From initial concept to final implementation, you will leverage your expertise to create innovative, efficient, and reliable solutions that meet the highest industry standards.
What are you going to do?
* Plan, calculate, design, develop, test, and validate mechanical concepts or systems.
* Identify and select components, materials, and parts suitable for mechanical designs.
* Create mechanical models and conduct tolerance analyses to simulate designs.
* Develop mechanical and fatigue simulations in compliance with railway norms.
* Calculate and produce final layouts, including detailed documentation and specifications.
* Maintain and update technical product files.
* Analyze and improve existing development procedures.
* Implement and test design solutions, upgrading existing concepts as needed.
What do you bring?
* A background in Mechanical or Materials Engineering.
* Familiarity with Design Codes (ASME VIII Div 1 is a plus) and Regulatory Frameworks.
* Proficiency in Siemens NX or other design software (Catia, SolidWorks, SolidEdge), including experience in creating technical drawings with geometrical tolerances and welding standards (EN 15085).
* Experience or willingness to learn Finite Element Analysis (FEA), durability, and fatigue life calculations.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a sense of responsibility.
* Excellent English communication skills (B2-C1).
* An open-minded approach and enthusiasm for challenges in a multinational environment.
