The Gym Manager is the primary contact representing Elite Fitness to the public, staff, contractors, and building management, acting as the conduit for receiving and dispensing information to staff and the existing customer/client base. This position works with the owner and all Elite Fitness related staff and is responsible for running the day-to-day office and club functions necessary to keep the gym business operable, including but not limited to:
1. Motivating and managing staff members.
2. Effectively handling the gym’s finances and administration.
3. Ensuring customer satisfaction.
4. Organising rotas to optimise staff coverage.
5. Designing and implementing optimal class schedules.
6. Maintaining a presence on the gym floor and developing a motivational atmosphere.
7. Enforcing and maintaining cleanliness levels across the gym.
8. Leading impactful marketing projects.
9. Providing guidance and effective leadership.
10. Managing gym events and seasonal promotions.
11. Driving the performance of your club by investing time in analysing the details behind your club’s results.
12. Striving for continuous improvement across your club with clear plans in place at all times to deliver strong financial and operational performance.
13. Carrying out reviews of the local competition on a monthly basis to ensure Elite is the premier fitness establishment in the local area.
Min 40 hours per week - During peak, competitions, and/or promotional events.
Experience: Required
